This place is awesome! Tried it today for the first time. Its almost as if its hiding in plain sight. Good food. Good service. Great prices. I had a hamburger with mozzarella, bacon and jalepenos and it was DELICIOUS. Really enjoyed my time here. Of course it *could* be cleaner, but the "grime" gives it character! I will def return....gotta finish reading all the bumper stickers. Lol

We were welcomed as soon as we entered. My best friend has been going to CS's for forty years and we always try to make a point to stop by when I visit from out of state. The food was delicious and Parker was an amazing server. Even the owner stopped by to check on us. I purchased three bottles of comeback sauce and a t-shirt to remember the occasion. I can't wait to go back on my next trip to Jackson.
Went for a metal show. Bartender was super friendly and quick. Ordered a hamburger and fries, came out quick, hot and tasty. The walls are covered in local bar history and countless beer cans throughout the decades. A really interesting spot for a small show.
Was going down the trace when my buddies and I decided to stop in Jackson for some food. CS's surprised us with some of the best burgers we'd had in a long time. Bonus points for having fried okra as a side option.
A Jackson landmark! CS’s on West street. It’s old, it’s eclectic, it’s one-of-a-kind. The plate lunch is always good. A meat and 3-sides. Always cooked well and seasoned. The country fried steak is excellent. The crowder peas are amazing. The burgers are a mouthful. Juicy, beefy and dressed like you like them. The stars, however, are dessert. Banana Pudding that is made with care. Peach cobbler served with the biggest scoop of ice cream imaginable. Good service. The place is not exactly clean and is showing its age, but the food is good and the folks there care that you enjoy your meal!
We’re visiting the U.S. from Japan for our honeymoon, and we discovered this place on our drive from Memphis to New Orleans. The bacon cheeseburger was honestly the best we’ve ever had! We would absolutely come back again if we have another chance to visit the U.S.
